FAQs
Can I cancel a class?
Yes, as long as you give a 24-hour notice.
All classes follow a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. All classes canceled within the 24-hour period before the scheduled, confirmed class time will be charged and will not be eligible for refund. Any cancellation due to illness or family emergency will be considered justified. If frequent absences occur, it is up to Spainless’ discretion to collect payment.
If you cancel a class before the 24-hour mark, you will not be refunded, but rather your class will be rescheduled.
Can I try a class and see if I like it?
Yes. All students are invited to try out a class to see if it’s right for them! You will pay only for one class. After the first class, payment is subject to the Spainless Payment Policy.
How do I pay for my classes?
Classes are billed per the Spainless Payment Policy:
All payments will be collected via a Wise link sent via email or WhatsApp as per the student’s request. Payment is also accepted via wire transfer upon request. Payment for one class is only allowed for a student’s first class. One-time payments must be paid prior to the first class. Thereafter, classes will be charged on a monthly basis or four class periods together, whichever amount of classes is greater. All payments are to be paid in USD.
How long should I take classes?
You can take classes with me as long as you’d like. I’ve had students that only need a couple months to prepare for an exam, and others who have taken class with me long-term to keep their Spanish skills up.
How many classes should I take per week?
Classes are designed as a supplement to your job or current studies, so one or two classes per week is standard. For optimal results, you should try to take two classes per week. Without practice, you can’t acquire a language correctly!
Where does class take place?
All classes are held via Google Meet. A link is sent via email and/or WhatsApp.
What equipment/material do I need for class?
You just need a stable Internet connection, your laptop, headphones, and a quiet space! All class materials are electronically shared with you (presentations, worksheets, etc.). Feel free to jot notes down using paper and pen, too!
What are your classes like?
I try to make learning as enjoyable as possible to make the most out of each one-hour class we have together. Once your needs are assessed, I will create a course syllabus that follows how much time you want to dedicate to your Spanish. You won’t just learn the language, but the culture, too – which is half the battle!
Will my level be evaluated?
Depending on how often we meet for class, I will ensure that you progress following guidelines set by both the European Union and educational institutions in the United States such as ACTFL.
Do you offer any support outside of class?
Yes. I am available via WhatsApp 24/7 for any quick grammar or vocabulary questions you may have.
